Our first taste of manjar…

We like trying new things and today we had a churro con manjar (commonly known as dulce de leche) (but not in Chile!)… I’ve only ever had churros in a sugar coating before and this definitely topped that! PB liked it too… although I’m not sure if his look of pure pleasure is because of the Mote con huesillos or the churro con manjar!?!

Time will tell if dulce de leche tastes quite as good once we are over the border… I have a feeling no one does it quite as good as Chile 😉
