Vamos a Costa Rica!

Yes, just like that – we are leaving Panama and tomorrow we head to Costa Rica. Never mind that the blog is still in the Galapagos – blog time waits for no man (or woman) (or quetzal).

Now it may seem like we are leaving Panama in a hurry after only 10 days – but no, we are not – we had a great time in Panama ๐Ÿ™‚ BUT, there are two issues – the first is that the countries in Central America are very small – yep, the smallest country that we visited in South America (Uruguay) is still larger than the largest country in Central America (Nicaragua) (not counting Mexico). So by the time you take a couple of buses you are practically at the next border.

And the second is that we are running a little behind our intended schedule… yes, who would have thought that we would be a bit slow ๐Ÿ™‚ Apparently we are supposed to be in Mexico already… clearly we are not… so we are picking up the pace (just a bit, we don’t want to overdo it ๐Ÿ™‚ )

So tomorrow we will leave Boquete, Panama – and try to get to Puerto Jimรฉnez, Costa Rica. This involves three buses and a ferry…. so we will see….. hopefully Costa Rica awaits!
