Goodbye clothes…
Travelling for two years tends to take its toll on the clothes that are carried during the journey. We managed to wear out quite a few items of clothing, and even the best footwear is not going to last two years if used very day. Whenever something was worn out or replaced we had a ceremony. The ceremony involved taking a photo of the departing object(s), and also if the departing object was being replaced, then a photo side-by-side of its replacement was deemed in order.
